Danish TV2 Lorry about the BLOX in Copenhagen

BLOX is the name of Copenhagen’s latest giant building, a future centre of architecture and design, developed by Danish philanthropic association Realdania. The idea for this creative hub for architecture, design and new ideas emerged in 2006. Now, after 11 years the building stands, ready to visit.

Lödige Industries is a turn-key supplier of the fully automated car park system with the capacity of 350 cars under the BLOX. As it is a fully automated solution, drivers do not need to go underground. They park their car at ground level in one of the entrance cabins and it is transported below ground in a lift. Then it is collected by one of horizontal transfer vehicles and brought to a free parking space via Lödige Shifters.

The car park system is at the moment in the testing phase, with chosen limited group. It is going to be open for public in January 2018.

The project BLOX was recently featured on Danish TV2 Lorry. See the video presenting a review of the project, including the car park system from Lödige Industries.
