Transfer Vehicle (TV)

Fast ULD Movement Across Cargo Terminal Zones

Need a reliable way to link storage decks, build & break zones, and cold storage? The Lödige Transfer Vehicle (TV) bridges critical gaps in your air freight handling system. Whether servicing ULD storage, workstations, cold zones, or various areas within the terminal, it ensures seamless horizontal transport of 5 ft or 10 ft ULDs via integrated roller conveyor decks. Transfer vehicles and hoists are central components of Lödige Lift & Run systems.

Transfer vehicle for horizontal ULD transfer

Lödige Transfer Vehicles move ULDs between air cargo handling areas via rail-guided routes. They support two 5 ft or one 15 ft ULD, delivering loads up to 6,800 kg. With flanged wheels, side guides, and disc brakes, the vehicle ensures stable, safe, and precise transfers—fully compatible with motorized or passive roller decks.

Elevating Transfer Vehicle

Elevating Transfer Vehicles (ETV) run on rails in storage aisles. They lift and move ULDs safely in high-bay racks, maximising vertical space and throughput.

ULD Hoist

ULD Hoists move 5–15 ft units vertically in seconds. Ideal for multi-level systems where speed, reliability and safety are essential.

Elevating Work Station (EWS)

Elevating Workstations bring ULDs to the perfect height. Ergonomic build-up and breakdown that protect staff and speed up flows.

Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV)

Automated Guided Vehicles move ULDs flexibly across the terminal. Scalable, 24/7 available and safe – ideal for efficient cargo flows.

Storage Decks

Storage Decks are where ULDs are kept in racks. This product is strong, friction-driven and scalable. It is designed to buffer cargo smoothly until it is needed.

Cool Room

Cool Rooms keep ULDs between +2°C and +25°C. Reliable, integrated cold storage for pharma, perishables and sensitive cargo.

Right-Angle Deck

Change ULD direction with full automation. Lödige Right-Angle Decks enable smooth 90° transfers using driven rollers and lateral wheels.

Powered Roller Deck

Powered Roller Decks move ULDs automatically in racks and docks. A robust base for faster, safer and more efficient transfers.

Turntable Right Angle Deck

Turntables rotate ULDs up to 360° for smooth direction changes. Optional with Right-Angle Deck, they also enable 90° transfers in compact, automated layouts.
