The journey began before Lödige Singapore was even officially founded with the very first Lödige material handling system in Asia, installed 1979 for dnata (formerly known as CIAS) in Singapore – a system we continue to maintain today, showcasing our commitment to enduring quality. This system has operated reliably for decades and has recently been upgraded for continued optimal performance.
By the time Lödige Singapore was established in 1992 Changi Airport was already building its reputation as a global hub—and we were there, building with it. In 1995, we constructed the state-of-the-art SATS terminal 5 at Singapore Changi Airport, which still operates flawlessly. These milestones reflect our dedication to delivering solutions that stand the test of time.
Trusted Maintenance and Future-Proof Solutions
Today, Lödige Singapore is the trusted partner for maintaining critical infrastructure at Changi Airport, including SATS terminals 2, 3, 4, and 5, as well as dnata’s cargo handling systems. Our expertise lies not just in engineering robust systems but in keeping them resilient through strategic upgrades that extend their lifecycle and optimize performance. As one of the world’s leading air cargo hubs, Changi Airport recorded a total air cargo throughput of nearly 2 million tonnes in 2024 – a year-on-year increase of 14.6%.
