Tasks:
- Responding to new enquiries, keeping track of active customers and following up regularly.
- Understanding Lödige’s product portfolio, expertise and unique selling points. Able to make good judgement calls on bid/no-bid decisions.
- Working with a revenue engineering platform to manage leads and enquiries.
- Meeting with prospective customers, presenting the company and promoting Lödige products.
- Preparing quotations, prequalification documents, assisting with larger tender returns.
- Producing sales layouts in AutoCAD.
- Doing material take-offs from layouts to produce bills of materials.
- Working with calculation tools to develop budgets for quotations.
- Attending trade shows and events.
- Providing a smooth handover to project teams when a contract is awarded.
- Some project management may be required on smaller jobs.
- Producing Sales Reports and Order Intake Reports.
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree, preferably Mechanical Engineering but other disciplines will be considered.
- AutoCAD skills.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a sales or project role in the industry.
- A compelling communicator, able to get points across precisely both in writing and verbally.
- Meticulously organized and able to record and disseminate technical information accurately
- Willing to travel at least 30% of the time.
- Capable to prioritize and plan work schedule in advance.
- Able to work from own initiative with minimum supervision.
- Able to work as a team member within a medium sized global organization.
- Current driving license.
