A new level of parking freedom
Urban Parking Solutions & Vehicle Lifts: Space-saving and user-friendly
Save space when parking cars, with parking solutions and vehicle lifts from Lödige Industries, the market leader in automated parking systems. We develop, realise and modernise solutions for projects of every size, from a single car through to more than a thousand. One example is DOKK1 in Aarhus, Europe’s largest public fully automated parking system.
The project determines which solution fits: the number of parking spaces required, the available area and the way the levels are accessed. Lödige advises independently of any particular system and draws on a continuous portfolio, from car lifts and lorry lifts through parking platforms, car stackers and parking pallets to semi-automated and fully automated parking systems. Some of these solutions come from Swiss-Park, a Lödige Industries company, and bridge the range between the single parking space and the large car park.
The portfolio at a glance
Vehicle lifts
More usable space instead of ramps.
Gain valuable space with intelligent access solutions. Vehicle lifts are particularly relevant where a ramp would take up too much site or building area or cannot be built, for example in residential and commercial buildings, underground car parks on tight plots or for deliveries to upper or lower levels.
Reach underground car parks and parking levels without a ramp
Car lifts transport vehicles between levels. The area a ramp would occupy remains available for parking spaces, living space or design.
Models: CARRICO, TRAFFICO, PEGASOS, Swiss-Park RISE
Less space required. More logistics space.
Lorry lifts bring heavy vehicles to upper or lower levels, for example for deliveries and logistics in densely built-up areas, in multi-storey production buildings or for transporting stage scenery in theatres.
Mechanical parking solutions
Use existing parking space far more efficiently.
Create additional parking spaces without needing more floor area. Depending on the solution, the vehicle is lowered into the ground, parked above other vehicles in a car stacker or arranged one behind the other on sliding pallets. Typical projects are private homes and villas as well as residential buildings.
Automated parking systems
Maximum parking capacity. Minimum space requirement.
Automated parking systems are particularly relevant where many parking spaces are to be created on a limited site or building area, for example in residential developments, mixed-use buildings or public car parks.
More parking space. Maximum convenience.
Make optimum use of your building area and offer your users convenient parking. The system handles parking and retrieval completely – drivers do not have to look for a parking space or drive through the car park themselves.
Models: RESPACE E-PUZZLE, E-ROLL, SHIFTER
More parking spaces. Less manoeuvring.
Increase your parking capacity even where space is limited. The driver parks the vehicle on a platform – the parking solution then moves it vertically or sideways to its assigned parking space. The parking system can be integrated into a conventional underground car park with a driving aisle, including alongside standard parking spaces.
Models: Swiss-Park MAX1, MAX2, MAX2M, MAX3

Lödige Industries - Focus on architecture
The projects explored in this volume show, represents an answer to the challenges of urbanisation: saving space where it is at a premium, facilitating access in ever denser urban areas and reducing pollution.
Everything from a single source – from planning to modernisation
Lödige supports your project throughout its entire life cycle – from planning independent of any particular system, through implementation, to service and modernisation.
The right parking solution for your project
Whether mechanical, semi-automated or fully automated parking system: what matters are the requirements of the project. Lödige advises independently of any particular system, also assesses existing solutions from other manufacturers and develops a suitable parking concept based on many years of experience and a wide range of technical options.
Operating parking systems reliably over the long term
Regular maintenance, fast support in the event of a service call and targeted modernisation safeguard the availability, safety and value of the system. Lödige looks after its own systems as well as systems from other manufacturers and supports operators throughout the entire life cycle.
Discuss your project
Describe your project. We assess the requirements and show which solutions are suitable for your project.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
The decisive factors are the number of parking spaces required, the available floor area and height, and how the parking levels are accessed. Another question is whether drivers park the vehicle themselves or hand it over. Lödige assesses these requirements with you and recommends the right technology.
Yes, parking solutions and car lifts are used in both new and existing buildings. Which solution is possible in an existing building depends on ceiling height, floor area, load-bearing structure and access, and is assessed for each project.
The main options are car stackers and retractable parking platforms. Car stackers accommodate two or three vehicles one above the other. Retractable parking platforms lower the vehicle below ground level, and the surface above remains usable.
Fully automated parking systems are particularly relevant where the highest parking density is to be achieved on a limited area and the driver hands over the vehicle. Semi-automated parking systems are particularly relevant where the driver parks the vehicle and the parking solution organises the parking spaces.
Swiss-Park is a Lödige Industries company. Swiss-Park products are part of the Lödige portfolio and are presented together on these pages.
A car lift is used where a ramp would take up too much site or building area or cannot be built. Car lifts can be combined with parking systems. The combination is planned for each project.
