Philippe De Backer

Philippe De Backer was born in Belgium in 1970. He studied electrical engineering at Supélec, Paris, and at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. He holds an MBA from London Business School.

Following his studies, he first worked for the Schneider Group before joining Lödige Industries in 1994 as a PLC engineer in Singapore. From 1996 onwards, he was project manager for the British Airways Cargo Terminal at Heathrow and subsequently became Managing Director of the UK subsidiary.

Mr De Backer has been Director of Lödige Industries since 2003 and was promoted to CEO in 2013.

 

Helge Reinck

Helge Reinck was born in Germany in 1979. After training as a banker, Mr. Reinck studied business administration at the University of Applied Sciences Südwestfalen.

After completing his studies, he joined Lödige Industries in 2007 as Project Controller, where he was initially responsible for controlling the air freight terminal project at New Doha International Airport. From 2009 to 2012, he was Business Unit Controller at Lödige Systems, a subsidiary of Lödige Industries. From 2012 to 2016, he was Head of Corporate Accounting and Central Controlling.

In December 2016 he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Lödige Industries.

 

Ralf Gapp

Ralf Gapp was born in Germany in 1964. He studied mechanical engineering at the University of Karlsruhe. After graduating, he worked at the Institute for Machine Tools and Industrial Engineering at the University of Karlsruhe until 1996. He then headed the design and production of special machinery at Lissmac GmbH in Bad Wurzach.

In 2003, he joined Lödige Industries as Head of Service International.

Since 2011, he is responsible, as Managing Director, for Lödige Machine Warburg, the German manufacturing company of Lödige Industries, and since 2015 for Lödige Machine S.R.L., the Romanian manufacturing company in Brasov, Romania.

Tobias Wennekamp PhD (Eng.)

Tobias Wennekamp was born in Germany in 1976. After training as a technical product designer at Lödige Industries, he studied mechanical engineering and obtained his doctorate from Leibniz University in Hanover in 2008.

He then worked in the ContiTech Conveyor Belt Systems division of Continental AG, initially as an engineer and later as head of Consulting and Application Engineering. In 2020, Dr. Wennekamp took over as head of global product management before returning to Lödige Industries in December 2022.

Since June 2023, Tobias Wennekamp is responsible for the Lödige Industries product portfolio as Chief Product Officer.
