Lödige Industries’ Hong Kong subsidiary celebrates its 15th Anniversary

Lödige Industries is celebrating its 15th anniversary of business in Hong Kong. In 2004 the office was established primarily to support the integration of our first system for Asia Airfreight Terminal (AAT) at Hong Kong’s International Airport.  This was the second office to open in Asia for Lödige Industries with the first being our office in Singapore, which was opened in 1992.

AAT was the first of many exciting projects for Lödige to be run out of Hong Kong and was followed by projects in Tianjin, Beijing, Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo. To date a majority of projects in Asia Pacific have been air cargo related but, nonetheless, in recent years Lödige has experienced increased demand from clients outside of this segment. As a result, Lödige has delivered systems for automotive manufacturing, inflight catering and large lorry lift projects, such as the one at the prestigious Marina One development in Singapore. Most recently Lödige announced the construction of its first automated car parking system in the region for a client in Sydney, Australia.

Today our office in Hong Kong serves as our regional headquarters for Asia Pacific and boasts employing over 200 staff across our 5 offices in Hong Kong, Beijing, Singapore, Malaysia and Sydney. “I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our teams here in Hong Kong and throughout the region, whose hard work, dedication and skills have made this anniversary possible and of course our clients whose trust and continued support have made it well worthwhile.”, said Nicholas Tripptree, Managing Director, for Asia Pacific at Lödige Industries.
