The Lödige Empty ULD Storage offers a simple and space-saving solution for empty ULDs storage inside the terminal. Designed as a primarily manual or semi-automated system, it provides safe and efficient handling by combining vertical movement with easy manual transfer using Castor Decks, Roller Decks or ULD Support Pallets in combination with a Cargo Pallet Mover.

The Empty ULD Storage Hoist connects different levels of manual storage racks for ULDs, providing safe and space-efficient vertical transfer. Installed in a steel or concrete shaft, it uses an electrically driven cable hoisting system with smooth acceleration and deceleration. A non-powered roller deck at 508 mm system height enables easy manual transfer of ULDs, supported by flared side guides for precise alignment. Optional safety doors at each access level further enhance secure operation
