ULD Turntables
Precise 90° Transfers for Efficient Cargo Flow
Need to change ULD direction in your terminal layout without manual repositioning? Lödige Turntables provide controlled, motorised rotation of Unit Load Devices at defined angles — optimising space, throughput, and safety in air cargo terminals.
Rotate ULDs at Key Junctions – Safely and Accurately
Turntables for ULDs are motorised rotating platforms used to redirect Unit Load Devices (ULDs) at angles of 90° or 180°. Compatible with 5 ft, 10 ft, 15 ft and 20 ft ULDs, these units support safe and reliable directional changes within cargo terminals – particularly where layout constraints require rerouting. Turntables operate at the standard system height of 508 mm, require no pit, and interface seamlessly with adjacent roller decks.
Benefits of Lödige’s Turntable

Automation Degree
Lödige ULD Turntables are fully automated components within cargo handling systems. Equipped with frequency-controlled motors, positioning sensors and motor brakes, they allow precise, hands-free rotation of ULDs to defined angles. Connected to the Lödige Cargo Professional Suite, they enable synchronised movement control and monitoring within automated conveyor lines and only permit transfer when correctly aligned. Manual operation is possible in fallback scenarios, providing additional reliability and operational flexibility. No operator intervention is required during standard use.
