Head of Operations (f/m/d)

 

Responsible for an established department of Project Managers, assistants and installation technicians this role is a key position with responsibilities including managing the team to deliver projects successfully, improving product quality, driving a safety-first culture, develop quality management systems, overseeing installation teams and ensuring lift and material handling solution customer satisfaction is achieved. 

You will be a responsible leader with an analytical mind and have a broad knowledge of the engineering issues and practicalities of material handling and lift installation business together with the commercial awareness required to deliver contract based capital projects. You will be happy working in both the board room with clients during the clarification and start-up phases as well as on site dealing main contractors and site issues.
 
This is a senior management position; reporting to the Managing Director (UK and Ireland) and you will be part of the senior management team in the UK subsidiary of this global Engineering firm.
