Abu Dhabi, UAE, May 2025 – Lödige Industries has been awarded a significant contract by Etihad Airport Services – Cargo LLC to deliver a state-of-the-art Material Handling System (MHS) for the East Midfield Cargo Terminal at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi.
The project marks a key milestone in the strategic expansion of Etihad Airport Services – Cargo LLC’s cargo capabilities and further strengthens Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading global logistics hub. As one of the largest and most advanced systems in the region, the new MHS will significantly increase operational efficiency and scalability at the terminal.
The agreement was signed by Jubran AlBreiki, Chief Executive Officer, Etihad Airport Services – Cargo LLC and Guy Walker, representing Lödige Systems AD LLC. The ceremony, held at Zayed International Airport, was witnessed by Naresh Ranganathan, Vice President of Etihad Airport Services – Cargo LLC, Gustav Ryan, MENA Sales and Projects Manager at Lödige Industries, Emma Clutterbuck at Head of Procurement, Etihad Airport Services and Micheal Boulis, Senior Legal Counsel at Etihad Airport Services, highlighting the importance of this partnership for both organisations.
