Working in the Production
Would you like to find out whether mechanics, electrical engineering and related fields are right for you? Then you can do an internship in our production department at our location in Scherfede.
Here are the areas of responsibility in our production department:
Metalworking
- Sheet Metal Fabrication - punching, laser cutting, oxidation, and bending
- Machining - drilling, tapping, turning, and milling
Welding & Mechanical Engineering
- Lift Technology - welding of smaller assemblies
- Mechanical Engineering - tack welding and alignment of larger assemblies
Assembly
- Pre-assembly - assembly of small components for SHERPA
- Mechanical final assembly - mechanical assembly of units and components for shipment
- Electrical final assembly - Electrical installation and wiring of units and components for shipment
Warehouse & Shipping
- Kitting and Packaging of screws and small parts for SHERPA
